If you see little or no response at your current dose, don't re-dose — wait at least 48 hours and contact your provider about a dose adjustment.

    Trimix is for men who haven't had success with oral ED medications or need a more reliable option. Because it's injected directly into the penis, it works independently of oral absorption and is often effective for men with diabetes, a history of prostate surgery, or other conditions affecting blood flow. It's not appropriate for everyone — your provider will review your health history and medications before prescribing.

    Trimix is considered the most effective ED treatment available, with reported success rates over 90%. It works independently of arousal because it acts directly on penile blood flow, which is why it's used when pills fall short. Results still depend on correct dosing and technique, and your effective dose is dialed in gradually with your provider.

    Common side effects include mild pain at the injection site, prolonged erection, and minor bruising. The most serious risk is priapism (erection lasting more than 4 hours), which requires immediate medical attention. Proper dosing and technique minimize these risks.
